There is a small gallery that has attracted me since I moved to Rincón. It’s called Boriké Gallery. I was immediately drawn to it when I saw that Taino connection. Boriké is the Taino name for this island we call Puerto Rico. (Other variants of the original name are: Borinquen, Borikén, Boriquen.) For the Taínos it was not about materialism, Boriké means Land of the Brave and Noble Lord. (The gallery was named after Taino traditions and culture.)
